Whether it's targeted reading intervention, support with writing and reading enjoyment, or gaining confidence in reading and writing, Literacy Ladies are here to support your student!

 

Tiffany Neal, M.Ed.

Tiffany Neal is a literacy expert and consultant for districts around the country. She is currently the Elementary Literacy Coordinator for Keller ISD where she supports teachers in kindergarten - 6th grade across the entire district. She has her Bachelor's Degree In Early Childhood Education and her Master's Degree in Administration. She was Keller ISD's teacher of the year and has a deep understanding of early literacy and reading instruction at the early elementary level. She has received extensive post-graduate education in reading and literacy instruction from Columbia University. Her areas of tutoring are:

  • Kinder - 8th-grade reading and writing support

  • Phonics and phonemic awareness for early readers

  • Writing in the elementary grades

  • STAAR Testing

  • Moving up reading levels

  • Comprehension and decoding skills for elementary readers

 
 
 

Melissa Alexander-Blythe, M.Ed.

Melissa Alexander-Blythe is a Coordinator for Post Secondary Success at Fort Worth ISD, where she leads the district’s AP (Advanced Placement), SAT, PSAT, and College Prep initiatives and oversees several campuses and their work in advanced academics and post-secondary student pathways. She was formerly a Director of Advanced Academics at a charter school, as well as a District Literacy Coach at Keller ISD and a reading and ELA teacher for over 20 years. She has a Master's Degree in Secondary Education and is completing her coursework to earn her Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction. She has taught everything from 8th grade, remote ELA, and AP Language and Composition. As an AP Lang. teacher, her students’ scores were in the top 10% in the country. She is a fellow and teacher-consultant with the National Writing Project and has received extensive post-graduate training at Columbia University. Her areas of tutoring are:

  • College Prep

  • Reading comprehension

  • AP Exams (focusing on writing)

  • SAT reading and writing

  • ACT reading
